Luiza Baldan holds a PhD and a master's degree in Visual Languages from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (BR 2020/2010) and a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from Florida International University (USA, 2002). Since 2000, she has worked with multisensory observation exercises, both in temporary residences and on the move, resulting in photographs, texts, audio and video installations, and some collaborative projects. In addition to her work as an artist and researcher, she collaborates with art institutions and independent spaces as a project advisor, producer, and curator. She is currently co-managing NowHere Lisboa.
