In the Wounds I Reach is a public performance and multimedia installation by Analize Nicolini, first realized in Curitiba in 2022.

 

The work presents the artist as an unidentified living being wearing a red biodegradable polyamide garment. Through the gesture of licking her own wounds in public space, the performance reflects on vulnerability, trauma, care, regeneration and collective responsibility.

 

The project unfolds through performance documentation, a suite of photo-performance prints, a single-channel video and exhibition installations presented in Brazil and Italy.
